One number. Four bands. Zero ambiguity.
Each score is computed from verifiable public data: PROFECO complaints and conciliations, municipal permits, delivery history, years operating, and public reputation.
See full methodology →Solid track record. On-time deliveries, complaints resolved in the consumer's favor, and no projects with irregularity flags.
Solid, with minor observations. May show historical delays or 1–2 resolved complaints. Still recommended with due diligence.
Warning signs. High complaint volume, unconciliated complaints, or projects with irregularity flags. Requires prior legal review.
Problematic track record. Shut-down or suspended projects, high volume of unconciliated complaints. We do not recommend proceeding without formal counsel.
A score built to defend itself anywhere.
Three principles govern every score we publish on Shield My Field. They are not marketing — they are the platform's legal architecture.
Buyers pay. Developers never do.
Our independence is not for sale. No developer can pay to improve their score — or to lower anyone else's.
No document, no data point.
Every data point behind a score carries its source, its date and its document. We also publish a Data Confidence Index: a thin file is shown as a thin file, never as a bad developer — those profiles are marked Provisional.
Right of reply, always.
Before we publish or downgrade a score, the developer receives the full evidence file and 10 business days to respond. The response — or the silence — becomes part of the profile.
